Ayumi grew up in the Bay Area and started her career at Michael Anthony Salon in 2014 and briefly moved to Denver, Colorado before returning back home to us. She specializes in lived-in color and balayage techniques and has also gone through extensive training and is certified through HotHeads for hand-tied weft extensions. Her commitment to continued education ensures she stay current with the latest trends in cutting, styling and coloring so she can bring the best service experience to every guest who sits in her chair.

Ayumi is Behind the Chair’s One Shot Hair Awards 2022 Brunette Winner and was also named Beauty Launch Pad’s 30 under 30 Haircolorist for 2022. She has also received both her haircolor and balayage certifications through Redken.
